Morning Banana Diet

Morning Banana Diet is the newest diet invented in Japan. It is simple, cheap and stress free. But a diet is not as effective without rules to follow. So I search thoroughly around the internet and I found some great information from various sources.

Morning Banana Diet is done during breakfast you will just need at least 3 to 4 pieces of banana and the only beverage allowed at most meals is water, preferably mineral or filtered. The water must be at room temperature, not chilled or hot. There is no limit on the amount of water though you need to drink it through sipping a small amount and not use to wash the food out. Chew the banana thoroughly and be mindful of the taste. Oh and during special occasions you can drink beer and wine.

After the banana breakfast you can eat your normal lunch and dinner. There are no specific limits on what you can eat during lunch but you will need to lower the calorie content during dinner time. It’s best to eat your meals just enough to satisfy your hunger, avoid getting full or stuffed. If you’re still hungry after dinner you can try to eat fresh fruits but don’t make this a habit. You may also need to avoid sweet foods, you will need to control your sweet tooth during a snack though some Japanese eat fist-sized rice ball for sweets.

Go to bed by midnight though earlier is much better, you have to let 4 hour period from your last meal before going to bed that is why the best time to eat dinner is from 6pm up to 8pm.

You can do exercise but you should not stress your self into it. The best exercise would be walking everyday if possible. This is to help burn fats. And the most important is have a diet journal, many successful Japanese naturally documented their daily food intake and progress online via blogs, forums, or social networking services, and they felt this gave them extra support.

What is L-Carnitine?

L-Carnitine is a naturally occurring amino acids lysine which plays a vital role in the metabolism of fat. . It increases the use of fat as an energy source by transporting fatty acids into the mitochondria, where they are ‘burned’ to release energy for body functions. The L-carnitine form may cause unfavourable side effects however. It is available in various different forms together with propionyl-L-carnitine and acetyl-L-carnitine. Propionyl-L-carnitine, through its augmentation of metabolism has been proven to prevent ischemia-induced heart dysfunction, and acetyl-L-carnitine has been suggested to delay the sequence of Alzheimer’s disease. L-carnitine is found naturally in avocados, breast milk, dairy products, red meats (namely lamb and beef), and tempeh (fermented soybean product). A deficiency of L-Carnitine can be the grounds of muscle fatigue, cramps, or low blood-sugar levels.

Take whole with a full glass of liquid. Do not chew or crush. Take L-carnitine with meals or 1 to 1-1/2 hours after meals unless otherwise advised by your physician.
Avoid L-carnitine tablets; they may be toxic. If too much used it may caused you muscle fatigue which is not good in your body and if symptoms persist consult your doctor immediately.

There are cautions when taking L-carnatine. Don’t take it if you are allergic to any food protein like eggs, milk and weight. When at risk of poor nutrition for any reasons and when you are pregnant or planning to have a baby in the future though there are no proven problems in pregnant women who are taking small amounts of L-carnatine.

Who is Olivia Ong?

Ever since I was a kid I really love listening to bossanova songs, there is something that this kind of music makes me feel relaxed and even gives me a strong positive vibe though it’s not really my favorite music genre. When I come across with this Olivia Ong, there is something in her voice that is giving me chills so I tried searching her name on Google and I found it in Wiki with a little information about her.

Olivia Ong is a Chinese Singaporean singer; she is 25 years old and started her singing career with her first release album “A Girl Meets Bossanova” on March 2005. Olivia sings mostly in English though she also has some Mandarin Chinese recordings on some of her recording albums.

She has signed to a Japanese recording company S2S Pte Ltd at only 15 when she has won a singing contest. Olivia, along with 2 other Singaporean girls formed the Japanese pop group, Mirai. One of their songs became the theme song of a Japanese anime titled Gensoumaden Saiyuki. Olivia moved to Japan to continue her studies as well as her career as a solo artist. Olivia became a big hit back home in Singapore after she sang the theme song of the drama serial, "The Little Nyonya". She had stated that her paternal grandfather is Peranakan.

My Top 3 RTS PC games

Newest technology brings the latest and the most mind blowing games ever released by the most acclaimed Game Developers today, fastest processors, advanced graphics and High Bandwidth Memory module to deliver the excitement of HD games and eye-catching 3D graphics. First person shooters like Far Cry 2, Crysis and Bishock for example give the gamers a real life dramatic experience because of its great game play and eye-catching graphics that is sure to blow your brains out. Don’t forget the Action Adventure genres like Gears of War and Assassins Creed, they show some intense game play and striking special effects. But we are not talking about FPS and Action Adventure Genres right? We’re talking about frame by frame action, nasty war games, building war barracks and command centres, were talking about Real Time Strategy Games! And now I am giving to you my top 3 RTS games I played and finished. This games are “A MUST” and I recommend this to all RTS gamers searching out there. Here is my first pick:

COMPANY OF HEROES, game developed by Relic Entertainment, this game is set during the WW2 (World War 2). The player takes control of the Allied Forces for the Battle of Normandy. Just like any RTS games, the player needs to gather resources to produce units like soldiers, tanks and armoured vehicles not by gathering gold or oil mines but by capturing strategic points placed around the map. These are the three resources: Manpower, this is required for unit production. Munitions, this is needed for upgrading squads/troops and weapons. Fuel, allows the player to purchase armored vehicles and tanks. I really love this game for its unique game play like capturing strategic points, great graphics and loaded with intense action like what other RTS games don’t have. I don’t want to be a spoiler to you guys so I suggest COMPANY OF HEROES added to your shop cart now.

My second pick should be WARHAMMER 40,000: DAWN OF WAR series, another game developed by Relic, and yet another strategic point “capturing” game play. I guess the Relic Developers have the upper hand for this time, 2 games in a row! So let’s go back then, just like I’ve said capturing strategic points is the key for success in W40k: Dawn of War for resources, unit production, special abilities and critical for dominating the game, the player controls a squad instead of individuals. Set in the Warhammer Universe where there are Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, Eldars and Orks. These are the races or factions that the player is free to choose from. The W40k: Dawn of War has the three expansion packs Winter Assault, Dark Crusade and Soul Storm which proved that the gamers want more from this excellent game. Great graphics and exceptional game play. And yet, another amazing game must be added to your shop cart.

And my last pick is none other than the WORD IN CONFLICT by Massive Entertainment it is also considered as Real Time Tactical or RTT game. Set in Seattle 1989 which the Russian are invading the American soil, nothing more to say here but the most astounding graphics and extreme game play, with artilleries of all kind, air support, napalm drop and my most favourite nuclear bombing! There is nothing more you would like to ask from this game, because this will give you the best experience you can get from a RTS game.

Top 3 Must Have Notebooks for the Businessmen

One of the most important gadgets that a businessman has to have is a notebook. This will help him a lot through many ways like setting up his meeting, business updates and business news ANYWHERE AT EASE. So I decided to create a list of portable notebooks that will define “ANYWHERE AT EASE”.

  1. Sony VGN-Z598U/B. This is the latest of the Sony’s high-powered business machine loaded with a pair of 128GB solid-state drives, which jacked up the original price by roughly two grand. But our test unit also jams a 2.53-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P9500 CPU, 4GB of RAM, and a dedicated nVidia GeForce 9300M GS GPU. That’s really a kick ass machine oh a notebook I mean.

  1. Lenovo Thinkpad X200. One of the fastest in the line of Lenovo’s Thinkpad loaded with the blistering Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 2.40 GHz (3MB L2 cache, 1066MHz FSB) (Montevina) and a chipset Intel GM45/ICH9-ME Memory: 2GB DDR2 667MHz (1x 2048MB) (can support up to 4GB of DDR3 Memory @ 800/1067MHz) and a single 7200RPM 160GB SeaGate Momentus (ST9160823AS) SATA. Tell me if you’re boss is going to nosebleed or what?

  1. Samsung X360-34P. Samsungs ultra portable equipped with a 1.4-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo U9400 CPU and 3GB of RAM. Despite on its tepid configuration, this notebook still managed to go on my top 3 list because of being so popular and one of the most in demand notebooks for a businessman today.

Intel Gaming PC for $500 Part 1

I always love giving advice to people about computer hardware quotations or talking about the latest computer hardware around. Personally I am a hardcore PC gamer and I don’t like games being played on low or medium settings, I always play it on high or very high config to appreciate the graphics and the game physics. But the truth is building a gaming pc is very expensive, a hardcore gamer would probably spend $800 - $2,000 for a single PC system (LCD Monitor is more likely not included). So I made up my own list to create gaming PC system which will only cost you $500 and can give you a fair and satisfying performance. With this PC specs I can guarantee you that you can set to high or very high config all the latest games and the future releases to come.

Let’s start with the CPU and here’s what I got:

Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 Wolfdale 2.8GHz 3MB L2 Cache LGA 775 @ $109.99. This processor can give you a very satisfying performance of 3mb L2 Cache, 2.8 GHz @1066FSB and loaded with the latest 45nm Nano Processing Technology. The price is just so unbeatable.

The RAM (Random Access Memory):

GEIL Black Dragon 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 Dual Channel Kit @ $32.99. Once again the price is very good same as the performance. Geil is one of the leading brands for RAM modules. You can’t get wrong with them.

The video card:

SAPPHIRE 100277L Radeon HD 4770 512MB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP @ $105.99. Video card is one of the most important piece for a gaming system. It is the one who is responsible for rendering the graphics. If you want extreme gaming you will definitely need a strong video card and this card the new Radeon HD 4770 is a kick ass one! With the latest 40nm GPU and a the amazing graphic memory GDDR5. And yeah the price is so great.

To be continued....

The History of Rugby Football

The discovery of 'Rugby' was therefore not the act of playing early forms of the game at Rugby School or elsewhere but rather the events which led up to its codification

A ball-game that corresponds to rugby football was a game introduced by ancient Greeks called episkuros In Wales such a sport is called cnapan or "criapan," and has medieval roots. The old Irish predecessor of rugby may be caid. The Cornish called it "hurling to goals" which dates back to the bronze age, the West country called it "hurling over country" (neither should to be confused with Gaelic hurling in which the ball is hit with a stick called a hurley or hurl, not carried), East Anglians "Campball", the French "La Soule" or "Chole" (a rough-and-tumble cross-country game). English villages were certainly playing games of 'fute ball' during the 1100s. English boarding schools would surely have developed their own variants of this game as soon as they were entrenched - the Eton Wall Game being one example.

The game of football which was played at Rugby School between 1750 and 1859 permitted handling of the ball, but no-one was allowed to run with it in their hands towards the opposition's goal. There was no fixed limit to the number of players per side and sometimes there were hundreds taking part in a kind of massive rolling maul. The development of running with the ball was introduced some time between 1859 and 1865. William Webb Ellis has been credited with breaking the local rules by running forwards with the ball in a game in 1823. Shortly after this the Victorian mind turned to establishing written rules for the sports which had earlier just involved local agreements, and boys from Rugby School produced the first written rules for their version of the sport in 1870.

Operation Glucose Control: For Diabetics

It was 5 years ago since my mother was diagnosed with Diabetes. So we decided to visit a dietician to ask for some advices regarding on her condition. The nutritionist said that there is no diet for diabetes but still a diabetic should follow the nutrition guidelines in the food pyramid. People with diabetics should eat the same amount the normal people are eating while paying attention to the carbohydrate intake to control the sugar levels stable. Carbohydrates contains large amount of glucose/sugar which is very vital for diabetics to avoid future complications. My mother’s nutritionist told her that she has to change her eating lifestyle and maintain a healthy well-balanced diet. My mom is using this diet up to now and she has successfully maintained her sugar level.

Eat fruits and vegetables. An average of 5 fruits or 5 vegetables per day. You can have it for lunch, snacks or mixed with dishes and stews.

Eat starchy foods. My mom has a box full of cereals and oat meals and she usually aims for 5- 6 servings per day. Every morning she takes her breakfast with bread and low fat butter cream. Starchy foods help absorbs the excess glucose that was consumed by the body.

Avoid eating sweets as much as possible. Sweets can trigger complications which will lead to more serious problems in the various parts of the body. Diabetics should control their cravings when it comes to sweets.

Diabetes is a traitor, it can strike you from nowhere and you may not know what’s coming to you. It’s better to prevent than to cure. For more health topics please click here

Fatal Familial Insomnia: How fatal?

We often heard from friends, family members and officemates or even from classmates that they are having insomnias and that they are experiencing difficulties in sleeping. Well at least they can still sleep. Let’s just pray that they don’t get this Fatal Familial Insomnia. Fatal Familial Insomnia (FFI) is a very rare sleeping disorder; it is so rare that there are only 50 families worldwide who is suffering from this illness. It is an autosomal dominant inherited prion disease of the brain. Patients ranging fom 30 yrs old to 60 yrs old is the age variable that is triggered by this disease. Death usually occurs between 7 to 36 months onset and has 4 stages taking 7 to 18 months before accelerating its course.

First stage is that the patient suffers increasing insomnia, paranoia, extreme depression, phobias and panic attacks which last for 4 months. This could be very difficult for a person having this psychological problems and even last for months.

Second stage is hallucination and panic attacks become more noticeable, continuing from the first stage up to 5 months.

Third stage is rapid loss of weight due to increasing insomnia that last for three months.

Fourth stage is the worst, Dementia; the inability to move and unresponsive which last until the patient subsequently die.

There is no treatment for FFI and that makes it even more insane. FFI is a nightmare but totally inhumane and real without sleep. And that is why it is described as fatal.
